If I were looking to know how to program an ecommerce site custom, I would learn PayPal system and its IPN programming. Stores are not hard to make... like a regular web page, just go get button code from paypal to add to the page. A dynamic store that is database and PHP driven is going to be a huge job but is a better solution if selling more than 30-40 items. It is just like regular dynamic programming, you just use cart and payment gateway code to pull it off. Some people prefer to not use paypal... and those people are retarded. You should use Pyapal. Actually somebody can make a very successful store using nothing but the tools paypal provides you free. Paypal is the best, safest, most widely used online payment gateway system. And won't break the bank like other gateway providers. |
