Really need Adam onboard too!
You'll get a paid app free just for letting me know if it works on your device. If it works great if not just report what happened i.e. if it FC'd or the app opened but the flash didn't turn on, ect....
Requirements:
You have to have a device running Android >= 2.1
Your device must have a camera with flash
You know how to install the .apk I will send you with eclipse, command line or some other method. I don't care just as long as you can install it without my help. Or you can buy it in the market and I'll refund your money if you keep it, otherwise you can get a refund within 24 hours (that's the way Android Market works, you have 24 hours to see if you like an app. Sucks for developers but oh well.)
I don't need testers that have these devices:
Droid Incredible
HD2
If your interested reply here or PM me. Thanks guys.

| I would test it out... I think my phone has Android OS >= 2.1... Camera Flash...
But I would have to go the self-install route, and I have no idea how to do that. This is my very first mobile phone. My wife and I are on the same plan with matching phones and I don't want to have to explain to her why we have extra charges(even with the refund I still dont wanna have to explain or even mention to her... don't wanna make my master angry).
So the question is now... can you use me knowing that? Give me the files if you wish to... I am pretty crafty and should be able to manage self-install from raw file. Plus figuring that out would do me good. I feel like a 65 yr old man that just got into the PC craze late with this damn thing. I can barely use the thing compared to some kid being on it. I bet a little girl can rock my phone. I got the Samsung Fascinate.

Ok, so it may or may not be too easy, I guess it's all relative.........lol
My server isn't currently set up with the correct MIME type to serve up a .apk file for a direct download to your handset so in order for you to install manually without the Android SDK on your machine it might be more trouble then it's worth to you. Although what I am going to recommend is useful and like you said will be good for you to figure out.
You need to download a free app from the Market call "Astro File Manager". Then you'll need to transfer the .apk I send to you to your SD card. Use Astro file manager to browse to that file and install it. Almost forgot, before you install the file you'll need to enable "allow install of non-market applications" on your handset. Menu > Settings > Applications > Unknown Sources
Or you can try the app called "Apps Installer" if you don't like Astro. Same process transfer the .apk to the root of SD card allow your phone to use non-market apps and use the installer app to install it. Done easy as pie.

| I have a G1 so I am stuck on 1.6 at the moment but I am looking to upgrade shortly. I'd like to participate later if I can.
I may get a G2.
