facebook creep-out

Never used facebook, but I got an invite from someone I didn't think I knew. I clicked on it and see that three people who I do know have also been invented (but apparently haven't accepted). I can image how that might happen only in my wildest dreams and it creeps me out because i'm not a big believer in coincidence.
How can someone I don't think I know invite me (and three other people that I do know - one of them barely an acquaintance) AT THE SAME TIME. This can't be a random event or is it?
How can they do that!?

You can change the privacy settings but I think that, by default, when someone that's not your friend looks at your profile, he is able to see your friens. Try that. Write any name in the search on the top of the page and then open the profile of the person who you don't know (and you're not friends on facebook) and you will see (if he didn't change any settings) who is friend with him...

they could have seen your profile, and saw who your friends were and added them too. no big deal, just ignore the invite.

Be prepared to get totally creeped out.
Facebook keeps track of everything you do. So does Google.
Recently I've been working on a site for a pizzeria. Guess what I see on Google's Ads and Facebooks Ads?
Papa Johns and Dominos.
And because I'm Italian I used to get a Mafia Wars ad everyday. That really pissed me off being an authentic Italian with class.
