Clickable Panel Navigation

Hey guys,

I'm wracking my un-trained brain to figure this out: I need a clean, sure-fire way to create a sliding panel navigation system for a website. You click a "tab", the panel slides out with the information, click the "tab" again, and the panel slides back into place. The closest thing to what I need is this crazy hunkofwhateveritdoesntworkanyway, sans the buttons (that's where the text body and links would go) and turned on its side, to reveal a horizontally-sliding panel system:  http://www.actionscript.org/resources/articles/23/1/Drop-down-menu/Page1.html

Is there someone out there with a little free time who might know how to achieve this without completely fucking everything up? I've either gotten no animation, or crazy random tweening from this source. I know there's someone out there who has a bare-bones no-mess way of making this work.

If you even have the time to point me in the right direction, that would also be great. I am a complete ass-tard at coding so I've no idea what I'm doing. xD

Thanks,
Vicky

Hey, it's fine, thanks for doing it! I've already got something working, but I'm still interested in seeing if your method is better. I have until the 20th to get it completely done, so there is still time for change. :)
