Exporting file from fireworks to dreamweaver probl

Hello,

I am exporting a header from fireworks and intend to use it on my website which I am building on dreamweaver. When I export it and open it I am able to see the file and it works fine. My problem is when I try to include it on my main index page it will just take over the entire website so I can only see the header, not the content below it. I am also having a problem with directories because it includes so many files when it exports, so I feel like I have to keep that menubar file in my main directery because everything in the htm file is relative links. Please help me include this file correctly!!

When you inlcude a header image it's always best to include the width and height of the image. As for directories, just put your image in a folder called images and link it like below. This is an example for both my fixes:

I understand that, but the file that I am exporting into a 'html and images' is hard to integrate into my site. It includes alot of javascript and some html I have a hard time understanding. I was wondering if there is any trick to entering this into my header.

it is as if I was trying to put in the menu bar Adam made in his 2 part tutorials.

so...how can i bring that into my index.php document with it working. usually when I include the file normally into my index.php it only shows the header and my content and footers wont even show up.

Unfortunately I don't. I have been learning very quickly and I am trying to get one up as soon as possible.

This is the code for the title menu. I understand it may not help much but it is basically as much as I can put up. I am trying to include this code (down) into all of my website's pages. Maybe I have to make a external javascript file and link it in? As I said whenever I get the header to appear it is the only thing appearing, the content and footer don't. Thank you for your help my friend.

If you're already using a php file you can just do a php include. Take all of this:

I love you! It worked. I was getting confused with what to include, as you have shown just include the head.

One last thing, is there anyway to clean up all the html that is in my normal index file. Can I somehow include that? Or should I just put that code in and minimize it so it isn't cumbersome?

Well you can minimize it by using divs instead of tables. But that takes a lot of css floating knowledge so it may be difficult if you don't know exactly what you're doing. Tables work just fine so if it's not broken, don't fix it. :) Glad I was able to help.
