Generally, the default size in which you would want to work with on Photoshop when creating a Web Site design is 960px by like 900px or so. Nowadays 960px width websites are standard.

Thank you I wasn't sure which size to work with for now.
Do you know any video's that are helpful I've watched some but are way
to simplistic & have no real creativity behind it.

If you are creative enough, you can do things your way to get what you want or need.

As to the basics that will be needed?! This site has plenty of great tutorials that will show you the starting points, as well as what is possible. The rest is up to you. Unles you pay someone to do it for you...........  And if you cant find what you want here, then just Google it.

If you have problems with something, post the problem in the forum. There are plenty that will help where possible.
