Freelancer for future work
by firetruck1986 - Fri Jul 30, 2010 09:56:19 AM

I've been on DevelopPHP for quite awhile now, mostly just looking around seeing how the site would progress, occasionally helping people out. I have a bachelors degree majoring in Graphic design, and I've been developing websites for the last 5 years.

At the moment I work full time as a graphic designer for a vehicle wrap/advert company. I meet a lot of small business owners who don't have websites, and need one built. I've been taking on the work, but lately its been getting out of hand. Staying up all night working on websites when I have a full time job to go to in the morning. I do everything myself, design, code, host.

I'm looking for someone who can take on future work from time to time. Here's what I'm looking for:

Someone who can handle last minute work. Who can speak and type english well.  Who can accept payments via paypal. You must know- HTML/XHTML, familiar with MYSQL, CSS and PHP are a must. It would be nice if we could chat via MSN, google talk or something, just to see if we would work well together. You must have an eye for detail, because work must meet my expectations. Knowing Javascript is a plus.

You can send me a message on here. I would like to see your website/portfolio.

Thanks!

I am always interested in side projects.  I too have a degree in Web development and Admin.  I have excellent communication skills and prefer wiring up functionality to designing the UI.  Very strong skills in XHTML, CSS and JS (specifically using the jQuery library).  I don't have much expierence with PHP MySQL implementation, but rather a familiar understanding of the syntax and usage.

I have been a member for a while now, when I get a chance I like to read the blogs and review the tutorials.  I have yet to post any tutorials of my own, due to time permitted. Based on the requirements that you posted I would like to speak to your further.  You can visit my site at www.gocybercat.com. And after we speak I can send you additional references if you require. But I would happy to assist you with some projects and I find it a challenge to take on last minute deadlines.

Hi,
I've been on here for almost a year and a half now. Work a lot with PHP, Mysql, HTML, and CSS. Javascipt skills are still coming along but I am always trying to learn.
Check out my latest site that I am working on: www.ashevilleatc.com/beta (should be opening soon so try here if the other link didn't work: www.ashevilleatc.com)
I created the entire design, coded a custom CMS and user system, and also includes a Javascript/Jquery nav bar, banner, and registration form.
I am available almost every night to work.
