The Javascript comma ( ! ) operator can be used to apply multiple parameters or arguments to a loop statement. It can be used to establish and iterate multiple variables in a loop, as well as establishing multiple arguments in functions and arrays.

( param, param )

var myArray = ["Joe","Paul","Katherine","Susan"];

for (var i = 0, x = 3; i < 2; i++, x--) {
    document.write(myArray[i]+" loves "+myArray[x]+"<br />");
}
